Citizens of Thessaloniki held an online protest rally at eight o’clock in the evening. at the scene of Alkis’s murder in Charilaouto provoke their opposition to acts of violence and – on the occasion of tragic loss of life of a 19-year-old student – and to fan violence. “We want the death of this child not to be forgotten and the Greek society to learn something from this tragic incident, to be brought to justice and to see measures so that such acts of violence are not repeated in the future,” the attendees underlined. Its president Parents’ Association of the 5th Community of Thessaloniki, Stelios Tsoulias stated that in the afternoon the parents of the area were recommended to a nearby school complex to issue a resolution against violence and to highlight initiatives as a “bulwark” in such phenomena. The participants stressed that they come from different professional and social fields and are fans of different groups, but they demonstrate together against fan violence and all other forms of violence.
