In Mladá Boleslav, you will open an underground swimming pool for 60 million crowns

Sugar Mizzy February 14, 2022

The public could enter it for the first time this weekend, the open day can be left today from 12 to 6 p.m.

Seven years have passed since the first reconstruction. Due to the state of emergency, the pool had to be closed in 2016, but the previous politicians discussed the need for repairs.

At first, they hampered settlements. The base shared in the building of the falconry and TJ Sokol wanted a high level for the city, although the master undertook to pay for the reconstruction and, through his own company SARA MB, will run it at his own expense.

I am glad that we managed to find a compromise so that the Mladá Boleslav family could achieve their base, according to the mayor Robin Povk, with the fact that after a long time both sides agreed on a substantial amount of 20 thousand crowns a month.

But the work itself was not easy, mainly because it is an underground space under the building of the falconry in the city center. We were in charge of the fact that above the pool there are beams, which hold the floors of the falconry, to Ondej Ram from the company SARA MB.

Arel underwent a complete renovation and moved into a modern style. The investment reached 60 million crowns, said Master Charouskov.

The space looks better thanks to new tiles and ceilings with LED light panels, which can change color. A steam chamber, a whirlpool, water spouts, an arm for the access of the cart to the water and a glazed space for a swimsuit were added.

New is the technical area of operation from filtration to automatic door disinfection. The air conditioning system changes the air in the hall every hour and with the help of filtration we have to change 45 liters of water for each incident, described the chief engineer Petr Kuchta.

On how the pool will be in operation, one city is currently in charge. We will publish price and opening hours about spring holidays, Rame said. It is likely that the morning will be reserved for the school and the time from 2 pm to 10 pm for the public.

Pre-election detonator

Reconstruction or construction of swimming pools and a number of other central cities, the rest of the year before the election, this darkness opens up most often.

Literally in 2018, before the last municipal elections, you were in Podbrady. The opposition there promised to build a new pool, and the then city leadership, on the other hand, refused, saying that such investments would pose a significant threat to the city budget.

Similar speculations are currently being conducted, for example, in Lys nad Labem. The local council last week approved a change in the construction of the spa pavilion in the base round to the pool. The opposition criticizes the measure, saying that the city does not have a pension for such pre-election investments. We have proposed that this investment be fully canceled, and the reconstruction of the pavilion should take place, said only the opposition representative Radek Blhov from the Lys ns unites group.

The necessary reconstruction of the aquapark in Pbram, too, has been speculated there for many years as to which variant to choose. In the end, the politicians decided to abandon the originally proposed grand building, which cost it a reversible 500 million crowns.

This variant could go this year, the town hall is now looking for a contractor. In January, the deputy raises the bid price of the contract to 350 million.

The Kralupy nad Vltavou swimming pool will be repaired this year, it will be one of the biggest investments of 2022, it will cost about 40 million crowns and it should be ready in the autumn. In Slanm in the Kladno region, they are again performing the construction of a swimming pool. The bath can be supplemented with a number of water features and other attractions.
