The business park with office buildings, to a nice neighbourhood. There will be homes, businesses, catering and recreational facilities. And the intention is that people come to live here to stay..
Work, learn, exercise, enjoy
Sloterdijk I South will be a daily residential-work district with a total of approximately 4,700 homes. The area consists of six blocks and is part of Haven-Stad. Living and working are more mixed here than in the rest of the city.
Two primary schools, social facilities, sports facilities, business premises and shops will be built in the district. A new park will be built on the south side of the district, along the railway. Here the future residents can exercise, play and relax.
A neighborhood to grow up in
In the neighborhood there is room for starters, families and the elderly. Children can grow up and grow old. Forty percent of the homes will be social rent and 40 percent medium-priced rent. The other 20 percent is expensive rental and owner-occupied housing.
