CHRONICLE AND COMMENT
Victor San Marino manages to dispel the away taboo by storming the field of Diegaro with a narrow victory (0-1 the final result). In fact, Mattia Gaudenzi’s first goal in the white and blue was decisive, arriving at 9 ‘of the first half. The San Marino citizens, thanks to the sixth success in the Italian championship of Excellence and the first away match in the same competition, snatch third place in the Emilia-Romagna C group right from Diegaro.
Gianni D’Amore, coach of Victor San Marino, decides to make some changes to the starting lineup for today’s championship game: Greco and Zabre on the field respectively in place of Boccioletti and Carrer, both not in top form due to a slight injury.

The game begins and, after action after 9 minutes of play, Victor San Marino already takes the lead on his very first offensive: on the development of a free kick kicked by captain Barone, Zabre puts the ball in the middle, Pedrazzini the head spy for Gaudenzi who , in turn, puts Foiera under the door. Diegaro-Victor San Marino 0-1 and first goal in the league for the young blue-and-white midfielder.
At 11 ‘the San Marino club could even double, but Ambrosini’s shot is easily neutralized by Foiera.
Around 20 ‘, however, Diegaro becomes dangerous in due circumstances to try to balance the scores: first Pertutti heads the ball over the crossbar on a cross from Zamagni, then Zamagni himself concludes out with an empty goal on a low cross from Vitalino. The men of Mr. D’Amore can breathe a sigh of relief at the end of these two scoring actions created by.
We arrive in the 34th minute and Victor San Marino could go on 2-0, were it not for Santoni and Pedrazzini who both fail to find the way to goal on the development of a corner beaten by captain Barone.
The first half ends with the result of 1-0 in favor of the biancazzurro team.

At the start of the second half and already at 5 ‘the local team tries to annoy the club coached by D’Amore: support from De Rose and right-footed shot by Pertutti near the opponent’s area, ball on the bottom.
At 13 ‘it is the turn of Victor San Marino, who, with Pedrazzini’s shot from a Captain Barone’s corner, fails to inflate the net for questions of centimeters: the ball, in fact, ends up a little high.
Five minutes later the San Marino players are seriously in danger of scoring immediately, but luckily Pazzini puts a patch on it with a fantastic rebound on De Rose’s insidious conclusion from outside the box.
At 22 ‘Victor San Marino goes very close to the 2-0 goal for the second time in the second half: Santoni’s cross from the left and a dangerous header by Gaudenzi, the ball only touches the intersection of the posts.
Several minutes of play pass without noteworthy offensive actions, you have to wait until 41 ‘to see one again and Santoni creates it, but his shot from outside is rejected by Foiera diving.
At 44 ‘Diegaro nearly equalized with Zamagni, but his right hit the outside of the net luckily for Victor San Marino.
In full extra-time, at 48 ‘, Foiera avoids conceding the second goal in this match by rejecting Ambrosini’s close-range shot for a corner.
After the fifth and last minute of recovery, the triple whistle of the referee Cola arrives: the Victor San Marino defeats Diegaro thanks to Gaudenzi’s goal in the 9th minute of the first half and is placed in third place, tied with Cava Ronco and the Savignanese, to the detriment of Mr. Cucchi’s men.

The next football match for captain Barone and his teammates will be held within the friendly walls of the Acquaviva Stadium on Sunday 20 February against Del Duca Grama (kick-off at 2.30pm).
