Coronavirus: 10,853 new cases today in Greece
The National Organization of Public Health (EODY) on Sunday afternoon (13/02) that the laboratory confirmed new cases of coronavirus is 10,853, of which 66 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways.
The total number of cases amounts to 2,174,093 (daily change + 0.5%), of which 49.7% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 409 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 2,509 are related to an already known case.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 72, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 24,754 deaths have been recorded. 95.2% had underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and older.
The number of patients treated intubated is 499 (62.9% men). Their median age is 66 years. 84.8% have an underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 382 (76.55%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 117 (23.45%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,139 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
The admission of new Covid-19 patients to the hospitals of the territory is 369 (daily change + 3.07%). The average seven-day admission is 406 patients. The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the age gap of the dead is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).

In the last 24 hours 13,675 molecular tests and 198,889 rapid tests were performed, with the positivity of a total of 212,564 tests reaching 5.11%.
