Toulouse celebrates Europe until February 17
Toulouse, which brings together the finest European industrial successes, is joining forces with the French presidency of the EU, from January to June 2022 to share the values and challenges of Europe.
After a lighting of the Capitole, at the beginning of January, which marked the launch of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Toulouse, european capital of air and space, will host several major meetings, in particular a meeting of European ministers responsible for space.
Closer to us, Europe is also present in our everyday life, which we can (re)discover through the exhibition Europe at the heart of your daily life, from February 10 to 17 at Square Charles-De-Gaulle.
A week to celebrate and get to know Europe better around three highlights:
– An educational exhibition to understand what Europe brings to the inhabitants on a daily basis (protection and consumer rights, urban development, exchanges, etc.), how it simplifies the lives of Toulouse residents in particular and the projects carried out in Toulouse thanks to the ‘Europe.
– A big game, in the form of a quiz, on the European Union is organized where the visitor tests his knowledge of Europe through questions on daily life, gastronomy, sport, institutions, travel, etc.
– A mapping projected on the Capitol dungeon every evening from 6:30 p.m.
And we don’t forget an essential cultural component, gastronomy with food-trucks that will offer culinary specialties from several European countries…
