Two days before the National Day of the Titan, the celebrations have already begun
“Connecting minds, creating the future“, the motto of this edition of Expo. A bridge between past and future, the connection between San Marino and the United Arab Emirates. Two days to go National Titan Day, and the celebrations have already begun: a group of young Emirati students were inspired by the history and suggestions of the precious fibula of the Domagnano treasure, exhibited at the Louvre in Abu Dhabi, to create musical and artistic performances. Project born from the Louvre together with the Emirate school Da Coda Musiqaa, also provides a scholarship for the best students, in collaboration with the music training center San Marino International Music Summer.
And the bridge that has been created in recent months, between the ancient traditions of San Marino, and the future, exhibited in every corner here at Expo, will be at the center of the National Titan Day. “It will be a day that will see everyone else getting to know our country – explains Secretary the Federico Pedini Amati – even with the performance put chemo in the field. Other pavilions have more appeal, but in our small way we have brought more than 150 thousand visitors, of which over 5 thousand in a single day“. Then announcing meetings with the highest Arab institutions also in light of the attention they have shown towards the Titan thanks also to the work of the commissioner Mauro Maiani.
And with the message “Climate action Now”, another initiative dedicated to the generations of tomorrow was held today, on the occasion of the National Environment Day: representatives of the 192 countries participating in the Expo, including the Commissioner General of San Marino , Filippo Francini, were invited to plant a tree, as part of a sign of the commitment, by all States, to fight universal climate change and to bequeath to young people, with this exhibition that is coming to an end, ideas and concrete projects for a more sustainable world.
