More reports and thefts in 2021, data from the San Marino Gendarmerie

The complaints received by the San Marino Gendarmerie for damage in 2021 increased. There were 191. Thefts are also on the rise, 158. These are the data of the 2021 activity of the Gendarmerie del Titano. 171 people who have been reported for various crimes including drug dealing, offending a Public Official, violence, theft, annoying drunkenness, attempted scam. Five arrests, one of which belongs to a member of the Gendarmerie. 22 complaints for drug dealing, 34 for attempted fraud. 37 family disputes, 6 reports to the Tutelary Judge, 9 episodes reported for violence against women (with the presence of minors in 10 cases). 64 road surveys, none of which were fatal. The Foreigners Office handled the issue / renewal of 330 ordinary residence permits. 470 home checks and 8,624 checks carried out through international police channels for the issue of residence permits and to ascertain the regularity of the stay of foreigners in the territory, especially for work, contesting 24 administrative sanctions.
The Weapons Office negotiated the purchase / sale of 752 weapons among San Marino private individuals; 48 purchases and 24 sales of arms by San Marino individuals to and from Italy.
19 people were associated with the National Prison, including 2 women, 10 San Marino citizens and 9 foreigners. There were 9 members of the Gendarmerie soldiers associated with the prison.
