Toulouse is among the cities where transport is the most dangerous
The figures from the Ministry of the Interior have fallen. In 2020, eleven cities exceeded the bar of the 1,000 victims In public transports. Among them, Toulouse. Indeed, 2,248 victims have been designated in Toulouse public transport. The statistics then place the pink city in 9th place in the ranking initiated by Le Figaro.
The data are problems of Ministerial Statistical Service for Homeland Security (SSMSI). They require the database of victims of crimes and misdemeanors recorded by the gendarmerie and the police. They have been published on December 21, 2021. These are facts noted after the filing of a complaint, a report, a flagrante delicto, testimony or denunciation.
The Paris region in the lead
The acts concerned are thefts with or without violence, intentional blows and injuries, sexual violence and contempt of officers. The ranking, shared by Le Figarois the next :

What ratio?
The proportions per inhabitant are calculated with the figures of the legal population as of January 1, 2020based on the 2017 INSEE census. For some cities like Paris, Marseille or Nice, tourist victims of attacks have been reduced.
In 2020, with the confinement linked to the health crisis and the drop in use of public transport, the inhabitants were increasingly victims of attacks. On the profile of offenders, the report indicates that 74% are between 13 and 29 years old.
