Portugal Football School organizes ″Science and Football″ conference
No event will be discussed scientific topics in various areas of sport.
Portugal Football School (PFS), a research and training unit of the Portuguese Football Federation, will hold the international conference “Science and Football” on the 29th and 30th of April, in Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras.
This will have national and international researchers, who will face challenges related to Sports Science, applied to football, futsal, beach football and virtual football.
Over two days, experts from the universities of Porto, Lisbon, Beira Interior, Évora, Coimbra, Maia, Lusófona and Trás-os-Montes/Alto Douro, the Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior, NOVA Medical School, the The Polytechnic Institutes of Maia and Guarda, the United Arab Emirates University (United Arab Emirates) and the VU University Medical Center Amsterdam (Netherlands), will educate registered people on topics related to Sports Science.
André Seabra, director of Portugal Football School, to feel “satisfied with the return of this event”. “It is another sign that we may be moving towards the normalization of everyone’s lives after the pandemic that devastated the world”, he said. PFS has pandemic annual activity due to covid-19.
