Muret, Toulouse: the strike stalled at Transdev
No progress in the social conflict at Transdev, a subcontractor of Tisséo, which paralyzes the Murétain buses.
The strike movement launched at the call of the FNCR and the CGT since January 19 within Transdev, a subcontractor of Tisséo operating around fifteen bus lines in Muret and four lines in Toulouse seems without solution. Negotiations on January 24 and 27 have so far failed, although agreements have been signed by another trade union organization. The proposals made by management (2.5% increase in the hourly rate, i.e. €0.26 gross per hour with retroactivity to 1uh January 2022 and one less waiting day on sick leave for driving agents with one year of seniority) were insufficient in the eyes of the strikers. Rose mary Gomes Da Silva, FNCR delegate, after meeting with the employees of the Muret site, clarified: “the strikers are not in agreement with the advances made, without new more favorable negotiations the notice will not be lifted”. The delegate reported “threats of legal action, against the FNCR and CGT trade union organizations”, by management, specifying: “the employees, already revolted by certain management practices, still intend to show their determination”.
