Description: If the energy consumer in the regime of the supplier of last resort does not conclude a contract with a new supplier within six months, he is in danger of being connected from the supply of electricity or gas.
Most of the energy supply in the supplier of last resort (DPI) mode from the autumn wave of energy supplier falls has already concluded a contract with its new and permanent electricity or gas supplier. In the DPI rescue mode, only units of percent remain. However, many of them are not resolving their situation yet.
Customers who, after the termination of the activities of their supplier, ensure the supply of electricity or gas, the so-called supplier of last resort, have a six-month period to conclude a contract with a new supplier. Finally, they receive a final statement for this regulated period. However, those who do not react in time will not solve the situation and do not conclude a contract with a new supplier in the meantime will become a so-called black energy consumer. In addition to other sanctions, he is thus at risk of connection from electricity or gas supplies. This step follows from the law and the customers concerned can hardly be angry with someone.
A permanent supplier will ensure more favorable conditions
Moreover, staying in DPI mode for as short a time as possible and switching to constant power as quickly as possible is especially in the interest of the customer himself. On the one hand, the time for concluding a new contract is reduced for these contracts, and, on the other hand, it fits with each other and waiting is unnecessarily expensive. By switching to the standard price list, they will get very significantly more advantageous conditions than under the DPI regime. Nevertheless, some of them remain passive and do not address the situation yet.
For example, Pražská plynárenská, which supplies natural gas in the DPI mode to customers in Prague, the original supplier of discontinued operations, currently records approximately 550 cases where customers in the DPI mode do not pay monthly advances and at the same time do not respond to sent calls. It is therefore more than legitimate to fear that some of them will soon end up through no fault of their own without gas supplies, because no advance payments are set is a reason to terminate gas supplies. The company, in an effort to prevent this situation, as one of the last options to the addresses of its employees, who personally inform about the situation, or. they leave alerts in mailboxes or under the apartment door.
Pražská plynárenská is doing its best for it
“I want to do my best to establish contact with these customers and solve their difficult situation. We use all available communication channels from letters, through emails, sms and calls. We are now also employees who visit to use the used place and try to contact the customer in person or in case of his absence, at least throw an informative leaflet in the mailbox, or. it will be placed under the door of the apartment, said Miroslav Vránek, spokesman for Pražská plynárenská.
For the sake of completeness, it should be added that Pražská plynárenská originally took over 40 thousand CZK into the regime of the supplier of last resort. customers, most of whom have already found a new supplier.
