FCG beaten by nothing by Rouen (14-15)
The hair-raising success last Friday against Bayonne (35-37) was just a stunt. In an intense evening, on and off the pitch, with a tribute paid to the Isérois Jordan Michallet, who died ten days ago, Grenoble was beaten by Rouen on Friday January 28 (14-15). The FCG had however got their hands on the match, leading 11-0 until the half hour mark, before taking in quick succession two tries from Rouen. The second period, where only a supposed one was registered on both sides, turned in favor of Rouen. During a festival of inaccuracies, on both sides, the FCG was unable to take the game in hand, sinning seriously in the last gesture. Winner of this match for the maintenance, Rouen leaves the red zone. Grenoble, unable to chain two wins in a row since the start of the season, remains 12th in Pro D2, with four points ahead of Bourg-en-Bresse, the first to relegate and who has one game less.
