Despite Brexit and Covid-19, the port of Caen shows its optimism for 2022
The CCI of Caen, which manages the port of Caen-Ouistreham, presented the results of port activity in 2021 and the outlook for 2022. The 10th French port suffered in cross-Channel traffic, but gained market share in new activities such as the wintering of ocean liners.

256,523 passengers, 85,560 cars and 87,634 trucks crossed the Channel last year. Declining figures which can be explained by Brexit and the pandemic which have significantly impacted trade between France and the United Kingdom.
