Will the curfew for CL hit Salzburg against Bayern be moved? – Soccer
Salzburg – Thursday, 01/27/2022, 12:22 p.m
The Champions League hit between Red Bull Salzburg and Bayern Munich will take place on February 16 at 9 p.m. Because there is currently a curfew at 10 p.m. in Austria due to Corona, the game would have to take place in the second half without spectators.
Salzburg’s politicians are now pushing for the curfew to be moved to 11 p.m. As the ORF Salzburg reports, the head of politics around Governor Wilfried Haslauer should ask the federal government to change the currently applicable regulations.
Efforts are also being made to relax spectator restrictions. Currently, only 2,000 fans are likely to be in the stadium for the Champions League hit in Salzburg’s Red Bull Arena, which normally holds 30,000 spectators. With a mask requirement, a larger number of spectators is expected in Salzburg.
A new regulation would then also apply to events and restaurants throughout Austria.
