Ukraine is providing € 73 million in technical assistance to Denmark under the next phase of the Danish DANEP neighborhood program to support Ukraine’s financial and economic stability. This is the answer in statement The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine after talks with Dmytro Kulebi and the Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen in Copenhagen on Thursday, January 27.
Ukraine will be a key recipient of Danish technical assistance in 2022-2026, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
Especially technical assistance, the government has allocated 22 million euros to strengthen Ukraine’s security sector under the 2022-2025 Peace and Stabilization Program.

Investments in shipbuilding
During the meeting, government officials discussed joint investment projects. Particular attention was paid to Ukrainian opportunities for Danish companies to build multi-purpose ships in Ukraine, especially for the needs of border guards and rescue services.
Ukraine and Denmark have agreed to start intergovernmental talks on preparations for a bilateral agreement on shipbuilding based on Ukrainian infrastructure.
The head of the Ukrainian people thanked the Prime Minister for Denmark’s active position in counteracting Russia’s attempts to destabilize the assessment in Ukraine.
