Interfax-Russia.ru – Russia, within the framework of the Geology: Revival of a Legend initiative, has developed algorithms for analyzing water supply sources, both underground and accidental, by 2024, announced a meeting “On the implementation of the initiative and the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation until 2030.” Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko.

She noted that the initiative “Geology: The Rebirth of a Legend” is the expansion of the economic base of the country and the long-term development of the economy. At the end of the initiative, messages were sent to the budget for the outcome of the initiative for three years at the end of 31.6 billion rubles, including for 2022 at the end of more than 10 billion rubles.

The initiative includes four areas, including solving the problem of water scarcity in rare regions of the country and creating a single water register of water resources. Russia is rich in water resources, and our task is to preserve them. To solve the problems of water shortage in 11 regions of our country in 2024, it is planned to increase the growth of groundwater reserves by 2 times and prepare 12 areas for consumption. in 11 districts, we will already start drilling exploratory wells for water,” Abramchenko said.

Also, as part of the Geology: Revival of the Legend initiatives, it is planned to put on the balance sheet 7 new promising sites for hydrocarbon raw materials and 15 for especially important minerals in 2024, in connection with which the re-equipment of Rosgeology and Rosnedra industry institutes, and is also applicable to the implementation of international obligations of the Russian Federation in the oceans. In addition, including targets – archives of events Svalbard and Antarctica, to select the advantageous positions of countries in the regions of the world.
