Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – After a dispute among drug addicts in Frankfurt, a man was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison for causing dangerous bodily harm. The district court ruled on Thursday. The 35-year-old accused apparently wanted to buy drugs in February last year without having any money with him. After a fight, he stabbed his 32-year-old victim in the lungs, the man had to be operated on after significant blood loss.
In court the accused made a confession and apologized. On that evening, due to drugs, you “rocked yourself up”. Originally, the accused was charged with manslaughter – but the jury left it at a conviction for dangerous bodily harm. The verdict is not yet legally binding.
