Mauvaka extended to Toulouse until 2026
RMC SPORT INFO – International hooker Peato Mauvaka, currently retained with the Blues to prepare for the Six Nations Tournament, will wear the colors of Stade Toulousain until 2026.
The wave of extensions continues in Toulouse. After having secured the future of many executives including Antoine Dupont, the best player in the world, Julien Marchand, François Cros or even Cyril Baille, each time with long-term contracts, the leaders continued their work behind the scenes.
As indicated at the beginning of January, manager Ugo Mola, too, will sign up for the long term with a new lease until 2027. But it’s not over. Because according to information from RMC Sport, another important element of the workforce will also continue the adventure in the person of Peato Mauvaka.
Toulouse took the lead
The international hooker (25 years old, 9 selections) was also at the end of the contract in 2023 but here too Toulouse took the lead to keep him for three more years, i.e. until 2026. The file is closed. Mauvaka, who has only worn the Toulouse jersey since the start of his career, is Julien Marchand’s understudy, and now even much more.
Like his five tries scored during the November tour, including two during the victory against the All Blacks at the Stade de France, the hooker has chained good performances, and still intends to show it during the Six Nations Tournament that he is currently preparing with the XV of France.
