Charlene of Monaco absent from the celebration of Sainte Dévote
Since November, Charlene of Monaco has been admitted to a “specialized establishment”. The wife of Prince Albert, still hospitalized, could not participate in the Sainte Dévote.
Princess Charlene of Monaco continues her recovery. She should be absent for another “several weeks” from the Rock. The Prince’s Palace announced on Thursday that the Princess had not attended the festivities of Sainte Dévote, the patron saint of the Principality of Monaco, which began on Wednesday.

In a press release, the Palace indicated that this convalescence “is currently continuing in a satisfactory and very encouraged manner”. “Her recovery as well as the follow-up of her dental care should still take several weeks, the Princess will unfortunately not be able to attend the festivities of Sainte Dévote this year” specifies the press release.
On November 23, a source close to the palace told AFP that the princess had been admitted “to a specialized establishment following great fatigue linked to her weakness”. The former high-level swimmer had returned on November 8 from a trip to South Africa. She had undergone surgery under general anesthesia.
