Teenager beaten in Via Mazzini in Verona
A brutal beating was carried out last Saturday, January 22, around 5 pm in Via Mazzini in Verona. The victim is a teenager who was beaten up by a group of about twenty boys. Agents of Digos and the Verona Mobile Squad are at work on what happened, who have collected the victim’s stories and testimonies and have also acquired the images recorded by the cameras in the area. Investigations aimed at identifying those responsible are being developed on these elements.
The pack, made up of young people in their twenties all dressed in black, targeted the teenager and his group of peers in Piazza Bra. Victims and states apparently provoke, even fly insulted. The group of very young people would therefore have moved to via Mazzini but would have been chased. Almost everyone in a shop managed to take refuge. Only one of them was reached by the attackers who kicked and punched him and then ran away. The first to help the victim were shop assistants. Then the friends of the beaten young man and the policemen of the Flying squad also arrived. The agents thus began to gather useful information to reconstruct the facts. Information that was then reported to colleagues from Digos.
