An unreasonably long stay in treatment could be a thing of the past
On Monday, the Prague councilor approved a proposal, thanks to which the system of so-called community care will be arranged for socially weak patients of the Bohnice hospital. “For more than three years, we have been doing everything to bring the care system into line not only with the Czech Republic’s international obligations, but above all with the needs of the people themselves and their loved ones. During the year, we began to work systematically with the management of the psychiatric hospital to ensure that those services can also be used by those patients, stay in medical beds for an unreasonable length of time due to a lack of appropriate social services, and need help in their daily lives to complete hospitalization. said the councilor of the capital city of Prague for social policy Milena Johnová (Prague itself).
