Portugal will participate in the ‘DNA – Indoors 2022’, an athletics tournament on an indoor track by European Athletics (EA), on February 5, in Glasgow, announced this Wednesday, the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA), one of the invited by EA
The nationally selected team from Spain, Scotland, Gale of 18 elements (and nine females) will also be announced, will compete with England, Ireland, Country of Spain and Gale of 1, in a format tested in 2019 – . more traditional show-oriented rather than competition-oriented.
The ‘DNA – Indoors 2022’ is made up of individual 60m events (men and women); 60m hurdles (men and women); 800m (female); greeting, (female); height (male); weight (male); 4×400m mixed relay team competition (two men and two women); 2x2x200m (men and women) and final relay, which will decide the winner of a course of 800m (women), 600m (men), 400m (women) and 200m (men).
Contests take place in individual duels, in two groups of three, in a free-for-all format. Matches of 3rd and classification of group A 3rd of group B, presented for 3rd of group 6th places will be considered; 2nd from group A 2nd from group B, for 3rd and 4th places; 1st for group B and 2nd for the first group of 1st places.
