MINSK, Jan 26 – Sputnik. The Warsaw District Court refused to extradite Stepan Putilo, the founder of the NEXTA Telegram channel recognized in Belarus as extremist, to Minsk, the PAP news agency reports.
The Polish prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with the choice of a decision on the extradition of Putilo legally unacceptable, the court upheld such a selection.
The exclusion of the request for the extradition of Stepan Putilo to Belarus took place on Thursday, as a result of which a decision was made not to extradite Stepan to Belarusian fibers.
“As of today, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus has not received a response from the authorized body of justice of the Republic of Belarus to a request to extradite the accused Stepan Putilo for criminal prosecution,” Dmitry Brylev, a representative of the official Prosecutor General’s Office, told Sputnik.
