“We were overjoyed”
Orelsan has “done everything” for this, according to the concert hall. “He is very keen to start his tours in Caen”, explained Sylvie Duchesne, director of the Zénith, to France 3. “It’s a question of territory, it brings him luck for the rest of his tour. »
The rapper is used to performing in Caen before any other place in France. It was in this city that he made his debut, shot many music videos and his film How far is it. The Caennais produce it well: the places for the concert of February 22 were sold in barely ten minutes, Tuesday.
“It was not so complicated to find a new date because we had many reports in February”, explains Sylvie Duchesne. “Orelsan and its production did everything to make it possible, we were in contact with them on a daily basis. Reporting is hellish for us, […] but when it ended with a premiere of Orelsan at the Zenith, of course, we were overjoyed. »
