Hannover 96: Tom Trybull flees after 152 days – 2nd Bundesliga
This is a classic case of error. Or waste from IrrTOM…
After less than five months, Hannover 96 and Tom Trybull (28) end the unfortunate collaboration. The midfield clearer was already absent from the Reds’ training on Wednesday and was released – to look for a new club.
Lightning Separation! Trybull escapes after just 152 days!
“We came to the decision together that it was best for him to look elsewhere,” says coach Christoph Dabrowski (43). “It’s in both parties’ interest if he gets the time to do it now.” The door for a winter transfer is still open until Monday.
It’s the turn of the Trybull consultants from the industry giant “ICM Stellar Sports” (managing, among others, Grealish/Manchester City, Konaté/Liverpool, Bale/Real). According to BILD information, the trail leads to Holland to his ex-club ADO Den Haag.

Trybull quickly found himself at a dead end with the Reds. He only came to Hanover at the end of August after his contract was terminated in Norwich. After the Corona failure, he made a good debut at 0-0 in Nuremberg. But he also quickly ended up on the bench with Dabro’s predecessor Jan Zimmermann (42). A total of only six professional missions, a total of 240 minutes.
The biggest help was Trybull with the U23s in the fourth division, scoring the goal to make it 2-0 in the 2-1 derby win against HSC in September. Dabro was still cheering. A few weeks later as a professional trainer, he found Trybull less and less enjoyable. In the six professional games under Dabrowski, he did not play a minute.
“Tom isn’t happy with his cases,” says Dabrowski. “His dissatisfaction was palpable. In the end, it’s also a player’s attitude – whether he’s willing to be patient.
Not for the first time. Trybull also let his frustration out in the end under Zimmermann. Zimbo pushed internally for a winter split but was fired before then. Now successor Dabro has pulled through.
Sports director Marcus Mann (37) stated it diplomatically: “We came to the conclusion together that it is the best solution for all sides if he reorients himself.”
