Hanover (AP) – Midfielder Tom Trybull is about to leave Hannover 96 after only five months. The second division soccer team announced on Wednesday that they had released the 28-year-old midfielder from training for talks with other clubs. “We don’t have the prospect of Tom getting the playing time he wants,” said Hanover’s sporting director Marcus Mann. It is “the best solution for all sides if he reorients himself.”
Trybull was trained by Hansa Rostock and then played in Germany for Werder Bremen, FC St. Pauli and SpVgg Greuther Fürth. After a year at ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands, he moved to England in 2017, where he played for Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers for four years. It was not until August 2021 that he signed a one-year contract in Hanover, shortly before the end of the transfer deadline.
