Russia compared to Liberia and Angola

In 2021, Russia dropped several spots on the Flow Perceptions Index to 136th out of 180, scoring the same number of points — 29 out of 100 — as Mali, Liberia and Angola. This is stated in inquiry Transparency International (the organization is recognized as an NGO-foreign agent in Russia).
The level of appearance is compiled on the basis of expert assessments of bodies around the world. The lower the score, the more corrupt the country is. The index value of 29 points, as in Russia, characterizes a very high level of perception of perception. A year earlier, Russia was ranked 129th in the rating.
The lowest incidence rate is in Denmark, New Zealand and Finland (88 points each). The last places in the ranking are South Sudan (11 points), Syria and Somalia (13 each).

In the group of CIS countries and their geographical neighbors Russia, the risks and positions of Moldova (36 points, +2) and Uzbekistan (28 points, +2). The list of countries compared to last year turned out to be with the same results: Armenia (49 points), Azerbaijan (30 points), Tajikistan (25 points) and Turkmenistan (19 points).
The indicators of Georgia (55 points), (32 points) and Kazakhstan (37 points) decreased by one point. Kyrgyzstan (27 points) lost four points, and Belarus (41 points) lost six points at once.
Transparency International notes that the results of the rating indicate that countries that are members of international organizations and freedoms are well protected and, in general, cope better with corruption.
