Man (53) dies at Corona demo in Brandenburg – BZ Berlin
During a “walk” by 200 opponents of compulsory vaccination in the Wandlitz community near Berlin, there was a tragic death on Monday evening.
As police surrounded the unannounced gathering to check participants, the man attempted to break the chain. The officers stopped him and checked his ID.
“Following this measure, he was able to continue on his way,” said police spokesman Roland Kamenz. He left open whether coercion or force had been used during the inspection.
“Shortly thereafter, the man had a medical emergency,” Kamenz continued, “first-aid measures were taken immediately by the police who rushed to the scene. Alarmed rescue workers then took him to a hospital. However, he died there.”
The police still saw the operation as a success. For the first time it was possible to “enforce the applicable law and the requirements of the assembly authority through the initial dissolution of unregistered assemblies”.

On the other hand, more than 1,000 demonstrators were able to move through Eberswalde, Potsdam and Oranienburg unmolested. They had previously registered their meetings.
As early as August 2021, there was one death during a protest against the Corona measures in Berlin. A 49-year-old protester suffered a medical emergency and later died in hospital.
