Hockey sur glace / Ligue Magnus. Grenoble s’est fait peur contre Bordeaux, six à la suite pour Chamonix !
GRENOBLE 2 – BORDEAUX 1 (TAB)
The Grenoble-Bordeaux are not alike this season. While the Wolf Burners had been ruthless with Boxers then weakened, in October (8-0), this time they were pushed to their last entrenchments, only suffering victory on penalties (2-1) .
The Girondins had the hottest situations of the 1st period, but without effect on the scoreboard (0-0). Champagne and his partners from Isère were much more enterprising during the second period, until their Finns Markus Poukkula and Jere Rouhiainen found the fault against a Gaëtan Richard transformed into a wall (30th). But the Boxers, even archi-dominated, did not let go… and Kévin Spinozzi managed to equalize after an engagement won by his team in the offensive zone (39th).
The score (1-1) was not to move during the 3rd period… despite a goal denied to the Bordelais, Guillaume having been found guilty of an obstruction in front of Stepanek’s cage, beaten by a long shot from Belisle (49th) .
It was therefore necessary to go through an extension … again sterile, despite two numerical superiorities and five shots from the Burners of wolves.
And during the penalty session, Grenoble was on the verge of defeat, before Kyle Hardy (on the last shot) then Sacha Treille (in sudden death) save the bet of the “BDL”. Phew!

CHAMONIX 3 – ANGLET 1
The Pioneers clung to seventh place in the standings, and a sixth consecutive victory, this time at the expense of a completely overwhelmed Anglet team which offered a very pale image by multiplying the faults and anti-game gestures.
45 minutes of sensitivity in total for the visitors, who were unable to get rid of the Chamonix embrace. A domination that should have led to a much heavier score. The Pioneers scored in the first minute through Terrier, before Mesikammen found the net for the second but, still in the first third, completely dominated by Chamonix.
The Pioneers created a huge number of chances during the first two periods, but lacked opportunism. Another major problem was the totally inconsistent power-play which should have brought in a lot of goals.
Terrier worsened the mark in double superiority (the only superiority completed of the evening), before the game degenerated in the third period, and Mesikammen and Decock let go of the gloves.
Anglet scored an anecdotal but 40 seconds from the end of the match. The Pioneers continue their crazy comeback, and not only grab the play-offs but 7th place in the standings, before a difficult trip to the ice of Cregy. Matthias Terrier is voted man of the match.
