Corona numbers in Liechtenstein and in the Werdenberg region
Covid-19
In Liechtenstein, almost two percent of the population tested positive last week
Liechtenstein is currently recording record numbers of Covid-19 cases. This is what the government writes in a media release. Werdenberg recorded slightly lower values.
Corona test laboratories are currently working at the limit.
The 158 cases reported on Tuesday lift the 7-day moving average to a new high of 118.7 cases. This corresponds to a 7-day incidence of 2123 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In the week alone, 720 people in Liechtenstein tested positive, which corresponded to two percent of the population, it is said. In addition, due to the high positivity rate, it can be assumed that many cases will not be discovered at the moment.
The numbers in Werdenberg are only slightly lower
The number of confirmed Covid 19 cases is also high in the Werdenberg region. This is shown by the figures from the Statistical Office of the Canton of St.Gallen. The 7-day incidence is 1968 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In the past seven days, 787 people have tested positive.
The highest 7-day incidence in the canton is currently in Sarganserland, with 2,442 cases per 100,000 people.
