More than 960 calls have been received for Attica, from yesterday morning until today at 6 in the morning, the Operations Center of the Fire Brigade due to the bad weather Elpis that is hitting the country.
Specifically, the Operations Center of the Fire Brigade has received 964 calls in Attica for transport of people to and from health units for dialysis or medical care, from immobilized vehicles, from homes or business premises as well as for tree felling and the release of unarmed people.

In the Attica Region, there are 725 people transported to a safe place, 120 trees cut down, 76 people transported to and from health units for dialysis or medical treatment, 13 people were released from elevators. At the same time, the Fire Brigade continues to operate in various areas of Attica.

The Fire Services of Magnesia, Evia, Boeotia, Cyclades, the island of Skyros, Crete, Peloponnese and Western Greece remain in some reservations, in order to deal with the consequences of the dangerous weather phenomena for as long as they appear, according to the updated forecasts. while the staff of the rest of the Fire Services of the country remains on increased readiness.
In its announcement, the Fire Brigade calls on the citizens to be very careful, to limit unnecessary travel as much as possible, while emphasizing that in Attica for the necessary transportation by vehicles it is absolutely necessary to use anti-skid chains and for their own safety they should follow follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
