500,000 euros in loot for two targeted burglaries
Two break-ins with substantial damage were reported to the police this weekend.
On the night of Saturday 22 to Sunday 23 January, one or more individuals broke into a store specializing in the sale of photo and video equipment, in the city center. The criminal(s) stole camera bodies, lenses and various equipment, for damages of 500,000 euros. It was the manager who discovered the looting of his store on Sunday morning.
The second burglary was committed in an apartment located on the ground floor of a building on rue de la Mavéria, between the evening of Saturday 22 and the day of Sunday 23 January.
A collection of knives and watches
The damage is imposed at 30,000 euros. The owner discovered his accommodation discovered on Sunday at the end of the afternoon, returning from the weekend, noting with spite his missing belongings, in particular his collection of 160 knives and his panoply of watches.
For these two break-ins, forensic identification technicians intervened and proceeded to the findings and records of traces and fingerprints. Police investigations have begun.
