Ukraine “welcomes any assistance in combating Russian influence” – Kuleb on US sanctions
In a Saturday interview with Radio Svoboda, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba commented on the United States’ sanctions against four Ukrainian citizens, including Viktor Medvedchuk’s ally Taras Kozak.
Kuleba pointed out that the sanctions were imposed for actions that Washington believes are contrary to the interests of the United States itself.
“This is a continuation of the sanctions that were imposed earlier. They were introduced against the citizens of Ukraine, among them there are people’s deputies, so here, as a member of the government, I can not afford to express a full assessment, “he said.
At the same time, according to Kulebi, his Ukrainian government makes decisions and analyzes. He decided that Ukraine does not interfere in US domestic policy.
“If this is done by individual citizens, they find themselves face to face with the American state in matters of our responsibility. And, secondly, we always provide any assistance that will help fight Russian influence in Ukraine. Especially under such difficult security conditions, “the minister added.
