tip no. 1: The visualization technique
Top athletes celebrate incredibly great successes with it. Before your speech, with your eyes closed, imagine yourself already speaking in front of an audience and speaking as easily and casually as you would like to. Allowing you to calm down the images that generate in your mind and give you self-confidence.
tip no. 2: Practice, practice, practice
What you don’t like to do, you constantly avoid. Actively break this vicious circle and speak in front of people as often as possible. Exactly that WILL take away your fear and YOU will simply get used to the currently still unpleasant situation.
tip no. 3: The comedy trick
A few seconds before you start talking, imagine your viewers in just their underpants, grow your ears and put on all your red clown noses. Change the look of your audience to BECOME funny for you. This humor exercise reduces feelings of anxiety and stage fright.
