The City District of Prague 5, in cooperation with the City Police, prepared m of Prague a new series of two-hour educational lectures in the field of crime prevention Senior Academy, intended for all active seniors with permanent residence in Prague 5. This year’s patronage was taken over by the councilor for security of the Prague 5 district JUDr. Petr Lachnit.

Senior Academy is a cycle of educational programs in the field of crime prevention, focused on the protection of life, health and property. The lectures will be enriched with practical demonstrations, screenings of instructional films and discussions on the topic. Interesting excursions are also provided within the cycle.

The free lecture series will take place once a week from March 16 to May 25, 2022 in the meeting rooms of the Prague 5 City Council, Štefánikova 13, Prague 5. This cycle is intended primarily for seniors with permanent residence in Prague 5.

The program covers the topics of crime prevention – personal safety, security of property, safety of seniors in the operation of the metropolis, the basics of legal awareness, seniors versus fraudsters, necessary defense and emergency, domestic violence, criminology – as you do not know, the basics of first aid and fire protection. The staff of the Prevention Department of the City Police will give a lecture. m of Prague.

We are preparing the academy for a maximum of 40 people with permanent residence in the city district of Prague 5. During the academy, small refreshments are provided. At the end of the cycle, all participants will receive a commemorative card and small gift items.
