The Federico II University of Naples is looking for a partner to create a National Center within the Naples PNRR projects; the announcement is available online.
As part of the MUR Decree for the presentation of intervention proposals for the strengthening of research structures and the creation of R&D “national champions” on some Key Enabling Technologies (published last December 28), the Federico II University of Naples will propose the creation of a National Center (CN) of Agricultural Technologies – Agritechpresenting a project proposal that sees together Research Centers, universities, private entities that possess great skills in the agri-food sector, to respond to the requests of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
The PNRR objective of the Ministry of University and Research is the creation of national research centers that can reach a critical threshold of research and innovation capacity through the collaboration of universities, research centers and companies; the program envisages the creation of 5 National Centers, each of which will be dedicated to the creation of a research program consistent with the priorities of the European research agenda and with the contents of the National Research Plan 2021-2027.

The project developed by Federico II of Naples has 5 macro-objectives: improve sustainable productivity and promote resilience to climate change; reduce waste and environmental impact; develop circular economy strategies, promote the development of safety, traceability and typicality in the agri-food supply chains.

The expression of interest is aimed at private individuals who are interested in the topics of the research center and who intend to collaborate in the future with Agritech as they intend to participate in the developments of the NC in terms of knowledge of the results of the research, of the activities viventi lab and technological innovations, and to enhance the results of the Research Program.
