Péter Galambos remained the president of the Hungarian kick-boxing association
Budapest – Sports leaders who also hold the position of vice-president of the National Association of Competitive Sports were voted to vote for another four years.
At the general meeting of the Hungarian Kick-box Trade Union (MKBSZ) on Saturday, the head of the organization, Péter Galambos, was re-elected chairman.
According to the association’s report, those who have also served as vice-presidents of the National Athletics Association have voted to vote for the next four years.
In his report, Péter Galambos emphasized that the sport was declared a full-fledged Olympic member of the IOC at the Tokyo Olympics last year, and that Hungary also held the Adult World Championships in 2017 and the European Junior Championships in 2019 with great success.
The identity of the vice-presidents of MKBSZ has not changed either, so István Király – who is the vice-president of the WAKO world organization and the president of the European Federation of Sports, WAKO Europe – and Gábor Juhász and Attila Katona will continue to hold office.
A new presidency was elected at the general assembly, which was attended by representatives of fifty member organizations, and Barbara Mórádi became the general secretary of the association.
