Next newcomer for FCV – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – Third signing for FC Vaduz in the winter break. Tim Staubli (21) joins the Chlallenge League leaders from FC St. Gallen.
The midfielder comes to the Rheinpark on loan with the option of a permanent contract. Born in Buchser, he has signed a contract until the summer of 2022. It was agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer.
Response to Lüchinger injury
Staubli went through all the training levels of the FCSG and signed his first professional contract with the eastern Swiss team in spring 2019. In just under three years, as a young player, he has already played 50 competitive games for St. Gallen. He scored one goal and two assists.
“After another central midfielder, Gabriel Lüchinger, was injured this week and we will be absent for around six to eight weeks, we wanted to be active again on the transfer market. With Tim we have a young, talented midfielder who we have been watching for a long time. At a young age, he already has a few Super League appearances under his belt and, as a jack, fits perfectly into our regional orientation,” says sporting director Franz Burgmeier.
