Juventude de Viana advances to the round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup
Vianenses return to triumphs, after three consecutive defeats.
THE Viana Youth faced, this Saturday, APAC Tojal in a game counting for the sixteenth of the Portuguese Cup. Reinaldo Ventura’s team won by 1 to 6 and sealed the passage to the round of 16.
Juventude de Minuto started the game in the best way and, during the first one, made it 0-1. With a shot from afar, Remi Herman threw the Viana team ahead of the marker. Shortly after, shirt four of the Minho scored twice, with the conversion of a penalty, increasing the difference in the after.
The team led by Reinaldo Ventura remains on top in the match and reached the third goal, again by Remi Herman’s stick. APAC Tojal’s response came, still in the first half, with the goal by Mauro Ferreira.
In the second, he had an opportunity to reduce the speed of the second house to the minimum margin. However, in the conversion of a penalty, André Coimbra was not able to beat the Vianense goalkeeper and the result remained unchanged.
The Minho were more accurate and, a few minutes later, Gustavo Lima scored twice and increased the difference in the score to 1-5. Even before the finalization, Andrés Castano finished the count and made the final 1-6, favoring the Viana team.
With this victory, Juventude de Viana secured access to the round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup. The men from Viana do Castelo return to the court on February 2, in a reception to AD Sanjoanense, counting for the 16th day of the regular phase of the I Division of Hockey in Roller Hockey.
