Two days before Irequest for the vaccination pass, 1,300 people paraded through the calm streets of Toulouse. They were about a thousand last weekend. From Monday, those over 16 will therefore have to present proof of vaccination or a certificate of recovery wherever the health pass was compulsory.
“We turned in on ourselves”
In the procession, Guy explains that he will refuse the vaccination pass, as he refused to comply with the principle of the health pass,“even when the tests were free”. It is therefore gave up a lot of things since July. “What I miss the most is access to culture. I used to go to the Halle aux Grains concert hall but I unsubscribed. And then we withdrew into ourselves. There is a whole bunch of people that I give up asking, because they are vaccinated and they are afraid.”
Jeanine, who is not vaccinated either, used to do tests for a few activities. With the entry into force of the vaccination pass, she knows that she must give up this: “I don’t want to fit into this mold [du pass vaccinal]. So I will go to my countryside, with my friends who are like me.”
Getting vaccinated, “we have to ask ourselves the question”
Jean-Michel demonstrates to him against this measure which, according to him, threatens “our fundamental freedoms”. But he thinking about getting a first injection : “We have to ask ourselves the question, because having a hermit’s life, I don’t really see the point.” He explains that he is “pro-vaccine, but not the rushed ones”.
