On Friday January 14, a cuddly toy lost at the Leclerc supermarket in Blagnac was picked up by a customer. The plush, like many items found in this store, has been stored… and is waiting for its family.
A stuffed giraffe was found last week by a customer who came to shop at Leclerc in Blagnac. Aware of the loss that his loss will create, the customer of the big brand brought the toy directly to the reception of the store. “I did not find anyone, among my interlocutors, understanding that a simple announcement of 15 seconds, would have allowed this small owner to find this peace of mind”, is surprised this pensioner.
After a short stay with the hostesses, the stuffed animal quickly found itself at the bottom of the locker of the security guards of the supermarket.
The procedure is clear
The manager of the establishment’s cash registers is formal, “any object found and brought to reception is then reported to the security officers, then kept until the end of the year”. She continues, “We recover lost comforters every day!” But what the retiree regrets is a lack of empathy from the staff. “No one had the courage to leave the procedures”, he adds, worried that the young child will never find his companion and will not immediately send an email to the store manager.
“We found the comforter”
Yesterday, finally, “we found the comforter” assured the director of Leclerc Blagnac. The giraffe fabric is still waiting for its owner at the supermarket. This manager, as specific as his establishment, must be “benevolent when parents are helpless.” Hoping that the giraffe comforter will finally find his little family.
