SNCF traffic disrupted in Toulouse and the region
The SNCF signalmen will be on strike in New Aquitaine, from Sunday 7 p.m. Major traffic disruptions are expected Monday in the region, in Toulouse in particular.
“Extensive negotiations were held“, indicates the SNCF this Friday, January 21, but “despite the proposals made by SNCF Réseau, the notice was not lifted“: the signalmen’s strike in New Aquitaine is scheduled from Sunday 7:00 p.m. until Tuesday 8:00 a.m.
Major disruptions therefore await travellers: for example, 85% of TGVs between Paris and Bordeaux are cancelled. But the galley will not stop at the borders of New Aquitaine.
According to the SNCF, no TGV circular south of Bordeaux, towards Hendaye and Toulouse. With regard to the Intercités, the service will also be “very different“with only two round trips between Toulouse and Marseille on the Bordeaux-Marseille line, two Toulouse-Bayonne round trips.
All travelers who can are invited to postpone their trip to another date.

On the other hand, the Paris-Orléans-Limoges-Toulouse train and the Paris-Rodez/Toulouse and Paris-Latour de Carol/Lourdes night trains will run normally, again according to the SNCF spokesperson.
