San Giuliano, leaves the office and disappears: the mystery and the searches
The last time he was seen on the afternoon of Monday 17 January, then absolute silence. The complaint from her brother. Activated molecular dogs
SAN GIULIANO. He left the office of a public body in the center of Pisa in the late afternoon of Monday 17 January and never returned home.
Over 72 hours of absolute silence for a 47-year-old who works in Pisa and lives in the Sangiulianese municipality. And hours of deep apprehension for family members and colleagues who have not seen him for days, nor have received messages or signals about his health conditions. His brother reported his disappearance on Wednesday 19 January and since then the prefecture’s car has started with the protocol to start the search for the person who – on the evening of 21 January – is still missing.
On the afternoon of Friday 21 January a meeting of the control room was held in the prefecture to coordinate the research. And the name of the deceased has been made known: it is Matteo Della Longa, born in Pisa in 1974 and resident in the municipality of San Giuliano Terme. The meeting follows the activation, by the prefect of Pisa, Maria Luisa D’Alessandro, of the “Provincial plan for the search for missing persons“. Also released the photo of Matteo Della Longa. For any reports, the prefecture invites you to contact the provincial command of the Carabinieri at the number: 050 9718.
The reference points of the carabinieri, delegates in search of the employee, depart from the workplace and continue on what was the traditional path covered by man to return home.
In addition to the patrols deployed on the territory, the military also resorted to the San Rossore dog center with molecular dogs. The hounds moved along the riverside and in the Porta a Mare area, via Livornese area.
The absolute silence of the employee is amplified by the absence of around or confidences that could at least hint at the reasons for a disappearance. The hypothesis of sudden memory loss, of an unreported illness due to lack of passers-by accompany the suppositions in which that of voluntary removal is not rejected.
