Russian Foreign Ministry counts on cooperation with mobile transport for “Russia-Islamic world” – Politics
MOSCOW, 21 January. /TASS/. Russia is getting active cooperation with people in specialized forums, including the Russia-Islamic World Vision Perspective Group. This is stated in the answers of the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday to media questions received at a press conference by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“We are concerned about both tolerance for feelings of sensitivity and a derogatory attitude towards Islam, Christianity, and other confessions under the guise of the rights to freedom of speech and creativity. We look forward to further active cooperation in specialized forums, including the Russia-Islamic World Observation Attraction Group.
The Russian Foreign Ministry added that Russia “respects the religious feelings of believers and considers it important to strengthen the restriction of freedom of religion.”
In accordance with the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, these actions provide for a specific restriction of freedom. – the State Duma and the Federation Council,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The Russia-Islamic World Observation Group was established in 2006 after the Russian Federation joined Islamic Cooperation Organizations as an observer. It includes 33 statesmen and public figures from 27 countries, including former prime ministers and foreign ministers, foreign theologians from Indonesia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait and other states.
