Warsaw: A breathing mural in Wola
The unusually spacious painting was displayed on one of the buildings in Odolany. For the first time, it is not a wall, but the entire building has become a permanent wall element. The introduction was painted with anti-smog paint, informed the Zakład Gospodarowania Nieruchomościami in Wola. The breathing mural was named on the building at 10 Wschowska Street. For the first time, it is not a wall, but a whole building. The painting shows characteristic monuments, such as the Church of St. Wojciech, Wola rotundas and modern skyscrapers of contemporary Wola.

– We liked not only the graphic design and the author’s idea. We made the facade of this building available also due to its beneficial influence on the environment. The artists painted almost entirely with anti-smog paint, which was used in the same method of air purification with the force of about 400 trees – said the director of ZGN Wola Mateusz Matejewski.
An unusual graphic designer was Tytus Brzozowski, an artist whose favorite heroine is Warsaw. – They are also decorated by the studios in which they are created. They are vivid, colorful, on the border of reality and fantasy – wrote ZGN Wola. You can meet them, among others at such addresses as: Próżna 12, Kijowska 1, Grochowska 215, or Chmielna 120.
As ZGN Wola points out, this is equipment, fittings, a mural that will: refresh the building and the surrounding area, as well as an addition to enrich residents and passers-by. The artists used the structure of the building and placed on it many references to the culture and history of Warsaw’s Wola district.
