Ventura wants to end tolls in Portugal
Ending Portugal’s doors, create a limited pension guaranteed to provide a minimum amount of the State budget to invest in the interior of the country. These were the main proposals that André Ventura left this afternoon in Mirandela, where he visited some commercial establishments and held a small rally.
He arrived in the middle of the afternoon and with half a hundred supporters visited several commercial stores, as few people were on the street. In the land of alheiras, André Ventura prefers to buy olive oil. The leader of Chega has an explanation: “I really like alheira, but now I can’t because I’m getting ready, and that’s why today was the olive oil that I also really like.”
Making a point of keeping the line, even in another regional products store, Ventura chooses sausage. “I have to lose weight, but I have to find something traditional here. It could be a language from Trás-os-Montes.” Here, André Ventura still pulled out his wallet, but he didn’t go, the owner insisted on offering it because Bruno Pinheiro doesn’t hide his preference… “Let it be, on top of that it is a Benfica fan”, says the trader.

Another break in the street to enter a pastry shop in the center of Mirandela. “Congratulations on your frontality, at least you can say what others can’t”, were compliments coming from one of the employees
The walk through the city ended with a small session on the way out of the municipal market André Ventura started by remembering that he was in a talismanic city, since in the 2020 presidents he gave him 20% of the vote. “A historic vote”, remembered.
Ventura wants to have a vote again, a region that he says has been forgotten by António Costa. “He said that he would be the prime minister who would unite Portugal and that for him there would be neither coast nor interior, but here Mirandela knows what it is like to be left behind.” It was the motto for the two main promises of the afternoon: “We are not only going to give our elderly a guaranteed pension, but we are also going to put an end to tolls in Portugal”, he guarantees.
In addition, the Chega leader defends that the State Budget has a minimum amount for investment in the interior and has already quantified: “2.5% of the Budget will have to be for the Interior and it has to be carried forward”.
