After a month of maintenance, the Halle de La Machine reopens its doors to visitors. The exhibition “Long Ma, the spirit of the dragon horse”, will be visible from February 19 to May 8 and will retrace the different stages of the creation of this machine as impressive as it is expressive.

After captivating thousands of spectators in the streets of Beijing, Ottawa, Nantes and Calais, this monster of delicacy arrives for the first time in Toulouse. In perspective: on April 16 and 17, an exceptional street show on the Piste des Géants!

Long Ma Jing Shen

Long Ma is a chimerical creature, she observes men and watches over them.
Her full name Long Ma Jing Shen means “Spirit of the Dragon Horse”.
Made of wood and steel, it measures 12 meters high, 5 meters wide and weighs 45 tons.

Long Ma can walk, trot, gallop, rear up and lie down. Her neck rises and falls, swaying from side to side. His eyelids are mobile. Its nostrils spitting smoke and its mouth fire. She breathes and her rib cage swells under the pressure of her lungs.

From February 5 to 19

After a month of closure for annual maintenance, the Halle de La Machine raises the curtain on a completely renewed scenography. While waiting to discover Long Ma Jing Shen in chair and steel on February 19, the first spectators could already discover the exhibition devoted to the adventure of the Chinese Dragon.

From February 19 to May 8, 2022, Long Ma arrives at the Halle de La Machine

Nestled inside the Halle, this imposing machine will wake up every day, lulled by the mechanical sounds of the stable of machines.

The True Machinists will invite the public to discover the history of this monumental machine, to be surprised by the sensitivity and precision of its movements. On certain days, Long Ma will be able to venture outside, on the Track, to greet Asterion the Minotaur and the inhabitants of the Montaudran district.

The teams of Compagnie La Machine and Halle de La Machine invite you to a great show on April 16 and 17, 2022.
The aptly named Trail of the Giants promises to be an ideal playground for Long Ma, the Minotaur and the Spider.

Traveling on Long Ma from April 19 to May 8, 2022

From April 19 to May 8, 2022, Long Ma turns into a city machine to in turn take travelers to his temple. 50 people could thus travel on its back several times a day for a real crossover on the Track at the height of giants.
