News | From Avignon to Arles, he travels 300 km on a solar bike to meet entrepreneurs
Ecological adventurer, Jérôme Zindy made himself known in July 2020 with a short journey around Avignon, then by a second in his region of origin, Alsace in 2021. Nine days ago, he embarked on a new adventure that ends yesterday. Going down three hundred kilometers on a solar-powered electric bike, from Avignon to Arles via the Alpilles, Jérôme Zindy went to meet around twenty entrepreneurs from the territories. All the SMEs visited are part of the network of the France active entrepreneurship association which works in the ecological transition. This mini-odyssey was intended to highlight an ecosystem of women and men in search of sustainable and benevolent solutions. “It’s not simple but they are often visionaries. They test things. There’s a lot of hope in it all“, attests Jérôme Zindy, who assures, “we are not at the time of assessment but of solutions.“
The “cyclist-traveler” thus met on the Arles territory the teams of the dinette services, Bocal & co, Simones, Taco and Co, Luma Arles, Le Bis and Parade. The interviews will give rise to articles on the partner site of France active Paca”to connect both entrepreneurs and territories and positively show through travel that we can do things differently. This requires political courage and commitment” In 2022, Jérôme Zindy plans “a tour of France of sustainable solutionsto create more connection and cooperation.
