“Monster Schiller, monster Okamura. These are not human beings to me. ” Sharp broadcast TOP 09 with ODS for Praguers
As a banker, he is used to talking hard and plain with people, and his online glosses and comments look like that. “If the 30-year-olds don’t take care of themselves today, they’ll pay over their earnings at 65,” he says openly. But people got this bad news, says a man who has been in investment banking since the 1990s.
“Since 2000, we have been responsible for the alibi and the determination for the order in twenty years, which we have not changed much,” Vávra remarked. According to him, it is best to see such things as housing construction.
According to him, its basis will always be the activity of private developers, public cooperatives and other similar entities will only be a supplement. Otherwise, it doesn’t work in any big city in the world. For example, Vávra does not understand why candidates who promise to turn with developers are doing so well in municipal elections. He believes it is the strumming of the lowest strings of the human soul. “And sadly, it’s the simplest political card – to scare and use envy.”
For example, he explained his view of expensive housing in Prague, where, according to him, the buyer also pays for a number of things that the city districts have delegated to the developer, and he is now recovering from the sale. But city districts have no choice, because due to the poor distribution of taxes, they themselves could never tighten public lighting financially.
Vávra described today’s national policy very pathetically: “It is simply an epic battle of good and evil.” He is unable to call people like Alena Schillerová or Tomio Okamura other than “monsters” and actually has sympathy for them. “For me, it’s not human beings, it’s not what politics they do,” he fears.
He himself separates from politics “substantive issues”, which are simply not debated, because here it is true that one party is right. Such a substantive issue is our stay in the EU. The definition of such a meritorious theme for him is “a dangerous path that leads only to hell.” According to him, the nationalization of companies, for example, should not be debated at all, and the same applies to withdrawal from the EU.
According to him, Babiš is coughing up an ideology because he only knows the ideology of money. According to Vávra, Tomio Okamura, on the other hand, has nothing against refugees because they are completely stolen from him. “But he knows what you want, those sheep, I’m confused, I think what the branches on the dorm give to derail the train,” he fears.
As for the current government, people should not be afraid. “Mirek Kalousek ordained economically correct recipes for this country, but he passed the debate on that interpretation,” he explained the policy of TOP 09. And the current coalition of ODS, TOP 09, People’s Party, STAN and Pirates learned from it.
Economist Vávra is known for his very harsh views, for example in the past stated on Czech Radio that if he should a grandmother who lives alone and has no heating, so he takes her home with him for the whole winter. “And it’s just no shame! Let’s not stand in line with an outstretched hand at the inscription state and state treasury, because there is no state, “Vávra became angry at the time.
According to him, we sometimes act not very rationally when it comes to money and personal finances. “We have a difficult starting position because money moves our lives, but we pretend not to. And it seems to me as if we were approaching Covid-19 by saying that it is not. Someone does, of course. But when it comes to money and personal finances, we Czechs in particular behave very little rationally. That is why it is something I am trying to change, and I am very pleased to have a positive response to it, “he added.
“We should set aside every month. And we don’t do that. Basically, it’s primitive grandmother’s advice. All you have to do is save a thousand crowns a month. So a garbage man can also become a millionaire in our country. But I have to put a thousand aside every month. When you can’t spend all your money, it’s the first step to financial independence and wealth. We should have our finances in our hands, “fate said at the time.
